    Blue Screen After Startup

    Specs:

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    Intel Xeon E5645 (2 processors)
    Memory: 12 GB
    Motherboard: EVGA 270-WS-W555-A2 Classified SR-2 Dual LGA1366 Xeon/Intel
Hard Drive: Western Digital 128 GB SiliconEdge Blue SATA Solid State Drive SSC-D0128SC-2100
    Graphic card: Nvidia Quadro 2000

I have been experiencing frequent BSOD for a while. After reading through many threads, I have done a system repair, updated my graphic card's driver, and I have done a memory diagnostic with memtes on my ram (each with 2 passes). Before I did all those, I used to get BSOD whenever I watched youtube. Now, I always get BSOD once when I turn on my computer.

    Please Help!!!!

    Thanks!!!

It's pointing to memory corruption. Did you remove any of the sticks during testing? If so make sure that all sticks are seated firmly back into the slots and at least run the test for memory for 7 passes or overnight, you have a lot of ram that takes a pretty good test and two hours wouldn't give you a complete run of the blocks. Memtest86 guide: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

After you run the Memtest report back and let us know the results also I would update to sp1: windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe 903.0 MB Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) your system drivers are almost 3 years old anf fill in the rest of your system specs in your profile using the attached program it will give better and more complete info on your system. BTW it sounds like a nice computer.

parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr

    HI Seth!

Thanks you so much for your reply. I have done testing on all three sticks individually, each with at least 8 passes of tests. They are all working fine. I also made sure that those memory sticks are placed back onto the motherboard correctly( I hear them click and everything...:P)

I have also updated to sp1 as you suggested. Now the problem becomes that whenever I start up my computer, it will give me BSOD once then restart itself. After the restart, the computer works fine all day without crashing until the next time I restart my computer. I wonder if overclocking also contributes to this problem? My cpu has been overclocked to 3.0 ghz.........
