Right, okay. So you can boot into Ubuntu, but not Windows 7? Does the Grub Boot Loader appear on startup? This should be the screen which gives you an option of booting into Windows 7 or Ubuntu.

So the boot loader does appear? In that case, what does pressing Enter on Windows 7 do? Does the Windows sign appear, computer shutdown, error message etc?

You should also try running a Startup Repair from a system repair disc. Startup Repair
