BSODs while playing BF3 and Rift. Multiple Errors

Hello everyone. I don't know a whole lot about computers/BSODs but I hope I can provide enough information so you guys can help me fix my problems.

So I've been getting multiple BSODs lately and I really want to fix them so I can just play my games without interruption. The games I have been playing when they happen are Battlefield 3 and Rift. They started on September 28, and then I got two on September 30th, and then two today so far. So I want to fix these as soon as possible.

My system specs are

Windows 7 Professional x64
8 GB of RAM
Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67 GHz 2.66 GHz
Video Card is ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series

The errors I'm getting are:

0x0000001e
0x1000007e
0x0000001a
0x0000000a

I would appreciate any help, I would really like to get this fixed.

I uploaded my System Health Report into a ZIP file and attached it to this post, but my BSOD Dump & System File Collection App is still running so I will add that when it is done.

Way too small to contain all the relevant material please try this method.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and which one was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.


To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Will this work to assist you? It just got done running.

I don't mean to sound impatient, I just would really like an update on my problem. I would love to put these BSODs behind me. Is the thing I attached above what you guys need to see or do you need me to find something else?

Since your update to SP-1 your crashes are related to USBPORT.SYS. I would first run a system file check

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

ALSO AND MOST IMPORTANT!

Your symantec is often the cause of these type of crashes. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials

Correct me if im wrong but to be able to play BF3 beta you atleast as for nvidia had to update your drivers to one that was still in the beta stage, im not sure how it is with the radeon drivers but im assuming there could be one as well. Did you update your drivers recently?

Yeah I updated my video card drivers. It wouldn't even let me in game until I updated them.

And im assuming that is around the same date as the bsods started to occur? The beta is only for a short amount of time and I can see your stress as of getting this solved so that you can enjoy both the BF3 beta and Rift, but since Rift isnt all that new, have you experienced any problems with Rift prior to updating your video card drivers for the BF3 beta?

I do not believe so, I thought I remembered I updated my drivers after the first BSOD, but it is entirely possible that Windows Update updated them before I started getting the BSODs.
