Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown: after Easy Transfer

I bought a new Dell Inspiron 15 last week. First thing I did was install Windows 7 Professional, then got all the latest drivers, then loaded my Office 2010 software and got the latest updates. All was going well until I foolishly used Easy Transfer in an attempt to transfer my Outlook 2010 settings from my Desktop PC - it didn't!

However what it does seem to have transferred is a problem I sometimes get on my Desktop PC, namely "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown".

It seems that ET does not create a restore point (GRR!), so I'm contemplating going back to before the Office install.

Before I do so, any other thoughts?
