BSOD while Shutting Down the Windows

    I have recently bought a Kingston DDR2 2GB KVR800D2N6/2G and installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
It has been happening recently that when I shut down the computer, my PC goes BSOD.
Please help me in diagnosing this problem. Thank you.

    Seems like bad RAM
Individually test this RAM stick with Memtest86+

OK, so I have checked the RAM as advised. No errors were found by Memtest86+

Reset your BIOS settings to their Default values/Auto, is your RAM compatible with your board?

The BIOS settings are set to default. And my board supports the RAM. On a side note, I would like to add that my BIOS is NOT updated to the latest version.
