Windows 7: BSOD when done loading map BFbc2

Hi,

Someone directed me here from anandtech.com. I am having some trouble with my system. Sometimes it goes to the blue screen when it's done loading games. I got this two times with the battlefield 3 beta and two times with Battlefield Bad company 2.
It does not happen all the time. I have run multiple tests, because I have overclocked my system to 4.5 Ghz.

Programs used: Memtest, Prime95 and LinX. All didn't detect any problems.
Memtest run till 300 %
Prime 95 for about 3,5 hours
LinX all memory and 20 runs.

I uploaded my BSOD file, but couldn't upload the "Generate a system health report". I think the file is too big. EDIT: nevermind, i made it a rar file and it helped.

My system:
i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz
8gb G.skill ripjaws
Z68 ASRock extreme 3 gen3
AMD 4890

Age of system: less than one month
Videocard: 2,5 years
System: Windows 7 64 bit

First stop overclocking and set everything back to factory settings.


Then try to play and post back here the results.

It took a long while to get it right, it doesn't seem right tho.. Why do I need to put everything back and how? Is there a factory reset button in bios?

Who overclocked your cpu? You or someone else?

Just set the cpu back to default clock.

Me, first time ever overlocking. I used a youtube video and tried to match all the settings.

If you are not advanced is better,do not overclock anything,you may damage your hardware.



For now (tomorrow) very carefully set it back to default,then try to play and post back here the results.

Ok it seems stable again.. no BSOD yet while loading games. How do I test if my 3.3 Ghz is performing well?
And where can I learn how to overclock? I don't know anyone who is an expert in overclocking..

Dont mess with it,you may burn\damage your hardware.


Your cpu and all your system is fine for work and gaming.


You dont need to overclock anything.


Play and spend time enjoying your computer.
