    Words not coming up at all on everything


    hi everyone i am currently using my old laptop as the one i normally use takes nearly 20 minutes to load. Also the words do not show at all. e.x when i normallly turn it on a tab comes up in the right corner and you normally press yes or no. Now the square boxes are there to see but no words in them and does not let me click them. If I go on the internet it does not let me type in search bars and the whole internet page goes white. When I go on powerpoint, it does not let me click anything at the top or add text. Can anyone help me with this? Im sorry if this is in the wrong section. The current laptop im using is a vista and with it never updating for some reason I can not open most of the programs I have on the laptop that is not working properly. So does anyone know what I have to do for my laptop to start working properly? thanks for your time.
