I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's your logitech webcam.
All the drivers for it are horribly dated (pre windows 7 by date alone)
I would see if there are some updated drivers/software available for the model you have via logitech's website.
Or, remove it.
The webcam is pretty old (Logitech Pro4000). Unfortunately they don't have the Windows 7 driver, but they did have the Vista driver which I used, though I did have to install the driver/software in compatibility mode as running it direct didn't work. I thought Vista and 7 were built around the same core (kernal?), and therefor vista driver would work fine with 7.. or not quite right ?
Thanks again for the reply, I'll give it shot at uninstalling and see how it goes, though I've had this cam installed for aaaages without a hiccup, diagnosing an intimitted issue is gonna be a pain in the butt lol.
Been thinking about getting a new cam anyways, so might hunt around (Logitech C910 looks nice).
Thanks again
