    Driver IRQL_not_Equal_or_less BSOD

    Hey guys
    I very recently bought a laptop from a firm called novatech. Everything was fine untill i tryed to synch my HTC desire phone with my laptop when i had no internet signal. Since then it has bluescreened baisically everyday since. I sent it back to Novatech and they told me it was a busted hard drive and replaced it. When it finally returned it crashed with exactly the same problem! I have reinstalled windows and still no luck!

    PS-im not that great with computers so will need help uploading my dump files as it says i cant upload em :S

    Just had a new bluescreen which said that the IO manager had found a verified driver that needed debugging or a new driver. It came up with a different error code and didnt automatically restart so gave me time to copy it. It said - HIDCLASS.sys - Address FFFFF88005965710 base at FFFFF88005963000, Datestamp 4CE7a665. This has thrown a spanner in the works because i thought it was a problem with my wireless network card! if anyone knows where i can download FREE - non-dodgy drivers for my Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter it would really help!

    First we need you to upload the dmp files for they will tell us what led up to the crash.

    We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

    You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

    To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
    *If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

    * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
    * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
    * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
    * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
    * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    * OK your way out.
    * Reboot if changes have been made.

    This crash was Related to athrx.sys Extensible Wireless LAN device driver from Atheros Communications, Inc.

    I would re-install newest driver.
