BSOD few minutes after I run uTorrent, also pointing to vmware

Hi.

Few weeks ago I started getting BSODs. I've never had them before. I did not install any new hardware. The only updates that I recall were VMWare Client and regular Windows updates.

After I run uTorrent I get BSOD pointing to NETIO.sys. I tried everything, I even re-installed Windows.

After that I ran driver checker and if I run it I also encounter BSOD while launching VMWare Client (two of my dumps are pointing to vmware).

I am quite frankly running out of ideas and I would appreciate a little bit of help. Dumps and system health files are attached.

The vast majority of these do point to NETIO.sys with only the two driver verifier ones Related to vmwvusb.sys VMware View Generic USB Driver (32-bit) from VMware, Inc..

I would do three things

1-Run a system file check to verify and repair the OS files

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

It may need to be run up to three times before sucessful

2- Since both Netio.sys and vm point to a networking issue and they are often a result of malware, or drivers I would download and run malwarebytes.


3-In order to eliminate the vmware as the issue I would remove it hust to test. If fond to be the problem there are other VM clients.

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
