many BSOD's when on the web, ntoskrnl.exe, SYMEFA64.SYS, and ntfs.sys

I have had 6 bsod's when on the net either on espn.com, youtube.com, or just playing a flashgames. It has always happened at night, when the computer sounds like it is doing a background scan on my computer, but I am not sure if it actually is.

I have ran the memtest86+ and it went through 12 tests without failing.

    Thanks for the help,

Pretty simple. you even mention it in the title of the thread. Your problem is being caused by Symantec, Specifically SYMEFA64.SYS

I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security essentials

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have uninstalled Norton 360 and installed Windows Security Essentials. Hopefully I wont post again about BSOD's.
