BSOD driver IRQL not less or equal (process name: system)
Hello
I have BSOD problem which occurs randomly. In the blue screen it’s written “Driver IRQL not less or equal”.
The important fact is that BSOD only appears when I use Win 7, and when I go back to Win XP the BSOD problem disappears. I have tested different versions of Win 7 on my laptop, but BSOD problem, have appeared with all of them.
I have checked my RAM with memtest 86+ and it did not show any problem.
I followed the instructions explained in "Reading and Troubleshooting the Windows Minidump (.dmp) File | I Found a Fix" to read the dump file and find the source of the problem. In the file obtained from minidump by following the instructions in that site, it is been written: "process name: system" and "DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT". I think this data plus the fact that BSOD does not appear in windows XP, shows that the problem is due to drivers. But I've installed the latest version of drivers. I don't know what else to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
