I am hoping someone can help me with my problem on Win 7 64bit SP1
Whenever I rebooted my PC explorer would crash within a couple of seconds of the desktop showing.
I was pulling my hair out as I had just deleted a corrupt recycle bin off my D drive and at the same time I had changed some settings on my network card. I thought the network card was the culprit so I booted up into safe mode (which works fine) and changed the settings back, then uninstalled the driver
, disabled the card in BIOS and eventually reinstalled fresh drivers
but it was still the same.
I then went through disabling my services and I found that if I disable security account manager the PC boots fine however as I use this PC as a HTPC and back up for files I can not access it from my laptop with it disabled
I have done loads of searching on google but have come up with nothing. SFC /scannow will find problems but never fix them all.
Does anyone have any ideas?
