    Random BSOD and boot failures on new computer

    Hi
    I have been having random crashes after setting up a new computer. At first the computer crashed when an external hdd was connected to the pc, but now it happens at random.
    When the computer restarts I get this error: chainloader/Bootmgr - error 15: file not found and my hdd is missing in bios. Also i have seen this error at startup: The system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking, but i haven´t done any overclocking. To make matters worse my net browser sometimes crashes and i get this message: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered.

    I have windows 7 x64 OEM
    OS installation is two months old and i haven´t reinstalled
    Hardware is brand new.

    Please help
    Thank you

    Hello Arnar and welcome.

    Looks like an argument with some USB Parent Driver.

    *                                                                             *

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    BugCheck C4, {91, 0, fffffa8006710680, 0}

    Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+4874 )

    Followup: MachineOwner

    3: kd> !analyze -v
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
    A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
    because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
    administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
    If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
    be among the most commonly seen crashes.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000091, A driver switched stacks using a method that is not supported by
    	the operating system. The only supported way to extend a kernel
    	mode stack is by using KeExpandKernelStackAndCallout.
    Arg2: 0000000000000000
    Arg3: fffffa8006710680
    Arg4: 0000000000000000
    Code:
    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    BugCheck 9F, {3, fffffa8007bbe6b0, fffff80000b9c3d8, fffffa8009180a10}

    Probably caused by : usbccgp.sys

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------

    0: kd> !analyze -v
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f)
    A driver is causing an inconsistent power state.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000003, A device object has been blocking an Irp for too long a time
    Arg2: fffffa8007bbe6b0, Physical Device Object of the stack
    Arg3: fffff80000b9c3d8, Functional Device Object of the stack
    Arg4: fffffa8009180a10, The blocked IRP
    Please plug any unnecessary devices out.

    The USB driver is from 2011 so a update would not matter. It could be a virus to be honest. A scan of Malwarebytes wouldn't hurt.

    Hi
    I only have a mouse and a keyboard plugged in to the computer. No viruses were found using Microsoft security essentials.
    Thanks for the help.
