    BSOD - whille playing Vanguard


    Started a few days ago - new problem - I think maybe one of the memory cards may be burnt out...

    System specs:
    System Manufacturer/Model Number: Toshiba L505 Laptop
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
    CPU: AMD Turion II Dual Core Mobil M500 2.20 Ghz
    Motherboard: ACPI x64 based PC
    Memory: 4.0 Gb
    Graphics Card(s): ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200
    Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
    Hard Drives: WDC WD3200BVET-26zcto ATA Device

    Hope this is enough information.

    Doesnt point to anything specific yet

    I do notice Symantec which is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.

    Thanks zigzag3143, I've had Norton on since long before this started happening. Ya, I know it's a hog but I only have the anti-virus sw.
