BSOD / Random Freezes Hi I attached my details as required, health report and BSOD download all in my zip.
My problems are I had as follows, I turned on my PC/logged on, came back to find it booting up to a system restore point. It took ages to load up all my anti virus after then and internet connection fine but displayed with a X red icon.
Then I got a BSOD which read "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA".
After that I got mutliple random freezes which I looked in my event viewer but couldn't pin down the exact reason for the freezes, but then I did a memory test with the windows 7 memory, which came back fine.
I read causing the problems was either the memory, which said it was fine or not updating drivers, which I did try update most yesterday. This morning I had another crash as the report might show.
Also my Serial ATA Controller is missing..... any help would be good I'm not brilliant with computers! | My System Specs |

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.
To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.
The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv-7 1005 Tx OS Win 8 Release candidate 8400 CPU 2@2.4 Memory 4 gigs Graphics Card Nvidia 9600M Sound Card HD built-in Monitor(s) Displays 17" Wxga Screen Resolution 1440x900 Cooling none Internet Speed 45Mb down 5Mb up |

Sorry I'm being stupid, I did what you said (enabling minidumps) on your thread and re ran "Windows_NT6_BSOD_v3.03_jcgriff2_" but my C:/windows/minidump file is still empty.
My crashes seem quite predictable, they happen about 5/10 minutes after my computer starts up 1st time then is fine, but I do want to fix because there are other random BSODs also. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Alienware / Aurora OS Windows 7 Premium x64 / 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 2 Memory Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 9.00 GB Screen Resolution Resolution 1680 x 1050 x 59 hertz Hard Drives Size 587.47 GB (630,796,054,528 bytes)
