BSOD after YouTube, now can't boot pc, ntfs.sys corrupted

    The "f" should be replaced by the drive letter of the Windows 7 installation your are repairing. I just tried it and it turned out to be "c" as expected:

    sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\Windows.

    If it moves the letters around you may have to hunt for it with the "dir" command, but my suspicion is that it does not fiddle with at least the system drive letter.

    If you know you are feeding it the correct drive letter (i.e., your windows files are on that drive) and it still barfs, please post the exact error message.

    After spending ages together with kaktussoft, we finally Ran out of options and decided to put th system out of it's misery and reinstall it.
    I will mark this as solved now.
    Just wanted to express my deep gratitude to kaktussoft for all the help he has provided to me, I really appreciate it. Thank you.
