The problem I'm having is more than 1/2 the time my sound card isn't even recognized. So when I go to install the driver in compat mode the install program says no card was detected please make sure your card is installed correctly. Just to make sure I checked the card which has been working fine for over a year.

When the card is recognized I'm asked to uninstall the drivers and restart. Unfortunately after the restart the card wasn't recognized again. So after a few more restarts I eventually got to re-install the driver. But during installation I got another BSOD. I'll rerun the DUMP collection app tonight.

The driver I've been installing/had installed is a tweaked version, see below:

SB Audigy Series Support Pack 3.8 (04/19/2010)

I'm going to retry installing the official latest driver tonight as well.

Sorry for the long winded response, I appreciate your help.

Here's my updated dump zip file with the latest BSOD yesterday.

What's wierd is my computer recognizes the driver as being installed; however when I load the creative audio console (control panel for audio for this) its says unable to find Audio device. Please make sure your audio device is enabled and installed with it's driver.

I'm going to try to install the official latest driver and see what happens.

So I did complete uninstall of Creative programs and drivers (driver sweeper) and reinstalled the official drivers and it seems to work.

Installed fine and haven't had any issues the past 2 days.

Thanks for your help! Just curious was my last BSOD also related to the creative drivers?
