Need some expert help with my system. I keep my drivers up to date. Just had a BSOD crash while my wife was working on the computer. I haven't installed anything new except for Skyrim.

- OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- the original installed OS on the system = N/A
- an OEM or full retail version = Full Retail Version

- What is the age of system (hardware)? = About a Year
- What is the age of OS installation = About a Year

Yeah I had a feeling it was my audio drivers. Because no audio device was recognized after the BSOD. I restarted a few times and it eventually recognized the device again. Wierd. Were all the dumps the same audio driver issue?

So basically I'm screwed with the creative audio drivers? It's an old sound card (Audigy 2 Platinum), but still works well. Maybe I'll ask for a new one for Christmas, just one of those upgrade I don't see any advantage in buying, not much has changed regarding audio.

That's funny about the Juniper VPN driver, my wife's a doctor and uses it to connect to patient files etc. Figures one that actually matters (HIPA etc) is the most out of date. Any idea where I could find updated drivers for the VPN? The ones I installed were from her employer, I doubt they updated them.

Installing via compatibility mode, what OS should I choose? My current installed OS (Windows 7 x64)?

Do I need to uninstall the driver first?

I tried to reinstall the driver to no avail. Half the time my sound card isn't even recognized. I think my audio card finnaly died. I tried to reinstall the driver via compt mode Windows XP SP2 and SP3 nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
