BSOD random, can't read error message

Hi everyone,

I have this weird BSOD ever since a couple of months ago, I think it started when I updated a bunch of drivers (network, Intel ICH7, sound,...) but I'm not sure it is the cause. I've waited in case some new drivers would eliminate the problem, but it's still here after new network and ICH7 updates, so here I am...

BSOD happens randomly, but with some constants :
- It NEVER happens after a fresh (re)boot, but only when the netbook has previously been hibernated (lid closed). And then it allways happens after using it for sometime.
- I have not been able to dectect what exacly causes the BSOD, it mostly happens when I try to play a web video (using Chrome), or when a new window opens. But it can also happen when I'm not using the netbook, I just hear it rebooting.
- I can't see the error message since the blue screen is all teared and messed up

System info :
- Asus Eee PC Atom N270 based netbook, originally 1 Go RAM upgraded to 2.
- Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bits OEM
- 1 year old, no system reinstallation
- jcgriff2 and perform files attached

Thanks to anyone who can help !

Virtually all of these were Related to RTKVHDA.sys Realtek(r) High Definition Audio Function Driver.

I would re-install using newest.

Please remove and replace your Avast with Microsoft Security Essentials

Thanks ! The driver was up to date, I restored the previous version, I'll let you know how it does.

Why ? In which way is it better ? According to http://www.brighthub.com/computing/s...les/63727.aspx Avast is sligthly ahead, eventhough MSE scores good as well.

MSE is FAR ahead (IMHO) in causing less BSOD's. I only suggest it for that reason alone. I dont use either Avast or MSE myself.
