Daily-ish BSOD after ugrading video card and mem.

I have a P5N32-E SLI mobo and a core2duo @ 2.2GHz and win 7 Pro (32bit), which has been running smooth for a couple of years now (the odd hiccup, but then again, nothing's perfect).

I was running a Nvidia 8600 GT card and 2 sticks of 1GB OCZ 6400 RAM.

I decided to upgrade to a Asus 6770HD card and 2 sticks of 2GB of Kingston RAM last weekend (I know I can only use 3GB of it btw). I uninstalled all my Nvidia graphics drivers and restarted 2x to ensure there were no lingering 8600GT drivers. After the 'upgrade', I now get a BSOD or sometimes a multi-coloured freeze-up (which produces no minidump entry iirc) on a, say, daily basis. Aside from usually happening while I'm gaming, there's no real rhyme-or-reason to it. Oh, BTW - I'm running an 500W power supply (Antech) - which I assume is sufficient for my card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've thought it might be either memory, or overheating, but my cpu temp seems to be around 45-50C most of the time and I never hear the fan on the new video card spin particularly hard.

I'm a bit reluctant to attach all the BSOD files generated by the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 tool as there are some files like the results of NBTstat etc... that give detailed info about my network and accounts on the computer. Call me paranoid - but isn't what you need info. about drivers and info. from the dump?

Anyhow, I've attached is the html result from the perfmon /report and in the zip file I've included most of the info, but not bothered with certain things I feel as though aren't needed (PM me if you argue they are relevant....I'm not trying to be a prick, but nor do I want to give away private info. without a need).

    Thanks so much in advance.

Thanks - I'll try that out. Would that cause BSOD only now after upgrading a card and memory? I have only VERY rarely had crashes in the past 2 years (maybe 1 ever 6 months).

Coincidence - I think not. I 'upgraded' Asus ATK0110 to the Vista 32 (there was no win7 version) and I couldn't even complete the launch of TF2 without crashing.

Anybody know if there IS a windows 7 version? My motherboard (p5n32e) doesn't have an ATK0110 for win7

After trying to update the ATK to a vista version (again, no win. 7) I had multiple crashes . I reverted to previous system state.

I had one regular BSOD and am including minidump for it.

Oh - and FWIW, I took my 2nd stick of 2GB PC2 6400 DIMM and slotted it right next to the first stick on the mobo (slots 1 and 2) on the off chance they didn't want to be set up in dual channel mode (? is that right - where they're in slots 1 & 3?)

    Hi -

Asus Support does not list Windows 7 as a supported OS for the P5N32-E SLI and shows a July 2007 ATK0110 driver, version 1043.2.15.37. Your current driver -
    Code:
    ASACPI.sys Wed Oct 18 01:44:46 2006 (4535BF4E)
See if Driver Verifier flags any 3rd party drivers- Driver Verifier - sysnative.com - MVP

EDIT: The dump says you are O/C'd -
    Code:
      Processor may be overclocked!
      Expected Frequency: 1800
      Actual Frequency: 1980
      Overclock Ratio: 1.10
    Reset to default.

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP_M (1000007f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
    If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
            use .trap on that value
    Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
    Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
