    Hello there,
    Please attend to these three things...

    * ASACPI.SYS

    The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

    Please visit this link: ASUS teK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
    ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

    Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
    Download and install it.

    Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT before)
    * SPTD.SYS

    This is another large cause used by daemon tools and alcohol120

    Remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.
    They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

    Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:DuplexSecure - Downloads

    You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

    * I do notice McAfee which is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
    Please remove it and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.

    thanks JMH, i have fixed the first one ASACPI.SYS

    unfortunately magic DVD doesnt cut it for me for imaging clones, so i need to stick with daemontool .

    i've also been using McAfee for a long time without BSODs so i will just monitor daemon and McAfee and see if im still getting BSODs

    my BSODs are some what random and about once a week so i hope the first solved it if not i guess i have to get rid of daemon and mcafee

    i appreciate your prompt response! repped!

    1-Good news about Asacpi.sys

    2-There are other alternatives to Daemon Tools/Alcohol120 (they both use the same file)

    3-McAfee can stay (your call of course) but if the crashes continue I would remove it next.

    As always BSOD's are a combination of factors. What works today may not tomorrow and we can but recommend you make the call.
