BSOD during Battlefield 3, changing bug check string

    Hi guys,

I've had a BSOD 5 times the last couple of days while playing Battlefield 3 and it's starting to really annoy me. I checked the dump files with the program 'BlueScreenView' and I see that i get a different 'Bug Check String' everytime (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM, BAD_POOL_CALLER and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION respectively). dxgmms1.sys is mentioned a couple times aswell as atikmdag.sys so I'm thinking this might

I think it's relevant to note that I just got a new motherboard and graphics card (due to an unfortunate shortcircuit incident while upgrading to a 600W PSU) two weeks ago, after which I have made a fresh win7 64-bit install with the latest ATI drivers. I have installed win7 many times before in the exact same way as now, with the image and serial provided by my university, and I have never seen this BSOD before.
The other hardware is mostly 3 years old, with half my RAM memory being 1 year old.

    Motherboard:Asrock 870 Extreme3 R2.0
    Graphics card: Sapphire HD6950 Dual Fan 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
RAM: 4x 2GB, I'm not sure which brand
    PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W
    HDD: 2x 500GB

I hope you can help me figure out why this is happening :)

I forgot to mention that the sound always gets stuck on a small loop during the BSOD. I'm not sure if that's relevant but hey, extra information can't hurt
