Windows 7 restart loop
I'm having the endless restart loop that seems to have been going around for a while.
I've replaced the bootcat.cache with a copy from a working system, I've tried deleting it altogether and I've tried every thing on the following page:
Recovering the Windows Bootloader from the DVD - EasyBCD - NeoSmart Technologies Wiki
If you don't feel like clicking over, those are instructions for completely rebuilding the MBR.
Nothing has worked for me.
Does anyone have any advice beyond re-installing?
I'd really appreciate any creative directions to explore here.
Edit: My system is an AMD Athlon II running Windows 7 x64 with 4gb of DDR ram.
