| | PC won't shutdown, always hangs at "Shutting Down" screen Hi all, you guys did a great job of solving the BSOD problem on my laptop, but now my PC is playing up so I need your help again When I try to shutdown my PC it nearly always hangs at the "Logging Off" or "Shutting Down" screen, the only time it shuts down properly is immediately aftwer it has been freshly started. It seems to me that a program or driver is causing the problem. if you can tell me what you need I can attach it asap. | | Microsoft does have a fix available, but you have to request it from them. Have a look at this article, and then click the fix link at the top of the page. You cannot make a computer that is running Windows 7 shut down or sleep |
