in that command prompt:
diskpart
sel disk 0
list part (how many primary partitions do you see? Note the numbers of primary partitions)
sel part 1
detail partition
sel part 2
detail partition
sel part 3
detail partition

I only want the details of PRIMARY partitions. something like this (in Dutch)
Code:
DISKPART> det part
Partitie 1
Type : 07
Verborgen: Nee
Actief : Ja
Offset in bytes: 32768
Volume ### Ltr Label FS Type Grootte Status Info
  ---------- --- ----------- ----- ---------- ------- --------- --------
* volume 2 C System NTFS partitie 113 GB In orde Systeem
post the output in form like:
partition 1 Letter C label system,NTFS, healthy, type 07, hidden no, inactive

Most important: What is the drive letter of active partition?

for c it says not found and it's still scanning d.. been stuck at 40% for like 40 minutes now.. is that normal?
And when i start windows normally most of the time i get prompted to go into the repair or start normally. If i start normally it goes to the starting windows screen but then nothing happens.. I just get a black screen. It doesn't go to the point to ask me to type my password. However to get to the command prompt it asked for my password.
Is D your windows partition? Did you do DIR D:\ and did you see windows en users folders?

40 minutes at 40% is very strange! Much disk activity? You may cancel if you wish. post a screenshot (make photo by camera) if possible
