    random BSOD and constant restarts

Hi there, new to this forum, over the last several months this computer randomly crashes to blue screen. I have tried disabling almost everything but to no avail.
I cannot pinpoint it and it does it at any time no matter what I am doing.
I have 2 DVD drives and when I disabled one of them, the problem went away for a while, then returned. This is last resort before format and reinstall. I have attached the required files, the computer specs I have put in when registering.
    1 year old Intel I7 960 3.2 gig . windows 7 professional etc.
2 dvd drives and X58 extreme motherboard.
    thanks in advance
    Ron.

Related to ULCDRHlp.sys ULCDRHlp driver from Ulead Systems, Inc. Yours is from 2004. I would remove it at least to test.

There are many other old drivers that need updating.

    Code:
    ULCDRHlp.sys 12/22/2004 3:47:09 PM ULCDRHlp.sys+1ac0886c 0x95bba000 0x95bc0b00 0x00006b00 0x41c9dd4d
    ComproHID.sys 9/30/2007 8:56:13 PM 0x95bdd000 0x95bdeb80 0x00001b80 0x470053bd
    irsir.sys 1/19/2008 12:55:21 AM 0x95b74000 0x95b7f000 0x0000b000 0x479190c9

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Thank you for the speedy reply,

I did suspect one or both DVD drives was causing the problem, I will try updating or just removing that file. I will let you know if successfull.

    Many many thanks,
I removed the software Ulead direct to disk SDK, which was part of the tv card and that in turn removed the offending driver, ie. ULCDRHlp.sys.

Running now for over a week and no more crashes, great stuff.
I cannot find an update for this software anywhere, so it stays deleted.

    Thanks again for the help,

    regards,

    Ron.
