When I right click, my computer freezes up.

Hi, I've just started to have a problem with my computer recently, when I right click a file or folder it freezes up until I end the task and then it refreshes my desktop, I tried rebooting and checking for malicious threats and nothing came up so far, I'm at the end of my wits trying to figure this out.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks!

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

I found this article, which may point the way to a solution for you.

    Failing that, you could try:
    1. A system restore to a point before the problem occurred.
    2. Creating a new User Account.

It seems that when I run my computer in safe mode the problem does not persist, everything works fine. Any ideas what to do now?
