BSOD, Now computer has problems booting/operating
Jeez, I've been having a bunch of bad stuff happening to my Desktop PC. Basically I have had problems with my computer being slow/freezing on and off after waking up from sleep mode. If I booted from scratch, with no sleep mode, everything would be fine. Anyway, the problem has changed completely I think.
This morning I was booting my PC, it did its thing so I left the room for a bit, when I came back, I had a BSOD with something like KERNAL INPAGE ERROR or something like that. It said it was creating a mini-dump but it never finished, so I had to reboot. Upon rebooting, I log in to my desktop like normal, but I notice that I cannot type anything and everything is unresponsive and wont open. I've never had that happen before so after trying to boot a few more times, I booted in safe mode and restored to the most recent restore point, before installing iTunes, which I believe was the problem to my earlier slow speed after booting from sleep mode.
Anyway, I'm literally just waiting for the computer to start after the restore, so any help would be great... I'm really hoping I don't need a new hard drive, because I really dislike installing all my programs again etc, but if that's what I have to do, ok
After restoring, I can log on and everything is fine, but I want to find out what went wrong, so any help would be great. Thanks!
