Issues on startup again

Hi all,

Getting tedious issues on startup.

The first is simply nothing coming up on the screen. I PC whirs along with the fan sounding a bit louder than normal.

I then hold in the power button and try again. I either get it powering up fine or the windows repair or (as today) a brief blue screen flash up and then it being ok again.

I thought it might be MSE causing issues at startup or perhaps my gaprhics driver (I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers).

I've done scans and done the memory test. No issues there.

Any suggestions or advice welcome as I'm worried!

Have a look at these advanced startup options: Advanced startup options (including safe mode)

My first choice would be to use Safe Mode, and then work through each option in turn.

seavixen,

thanks - I've started it in safe mode a couple of times with no issues. Glad that might mean it's only a driver issue. I'll look into that link you posted

cheers
