I've followed those, however the OCCT test has moved on to version 4 and I seem to have trouble finding the instructions for that
However, I've run each test and I can clearly see from the screen that the graphics display struggles and freezes in test 4, the other tests appearing to run fine (I ran the first one for 30 minutes and everything seemed stable)
I haven't tried to interpret the results but perhaps you'd have a look and advise or alternatively tell me if I haven't managed to capture what is needed
Many thanks | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Vostro 220 OS Windows 7 Professional 32 bit CPU Intel Core duo E8400 Motherboard Dell Memory 3072MB 800MHz SDRAM DDR2 1 x 2048 1 x 1024 Graphics Card Onboard G43 chipset Monitor(s) Displays BenQ 24HD PSU Dell Case Dell Cooling Dell Hard Drives 320GB 7200 SATA |

Many thanks Do the freezes occur only in Firefox? If so try to disable the "Hardware Acceleration" feature of Firefox
Your graphics card may need to be replaced, it should not be freezing in the test unless something is going wrong at the hardware level. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Win7 Ultimate SP1 x64 / Windows 8 Pro / Android CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 OC'd 3.08GHz Motherboard Asus Rampage formula LGA775 Memory 8GB DDR2 900Mhz Graphics Card Zotac GTX 460OC 2GB GDDR5/Asus EN9600GT 1GB DDR3 PhyX Sound Card Supreme FX2 Monitor(s) Displays AOC 22' Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Prolink keyboard Mouse Prolink optical mouse PSU Cooler Master GX 650W Cooling Cooler Master V6 + 3X fans Hard Drives 3X500GB hitachi, 2TB internal, 500GB Seagate FreeAgent, 640GB Samsung Internet Speed 1MiB/s Other Info 5.1 System + 2.1 System |

I'm thinking it's the graphics card coming to the end of its natural. Once the test got up to 70fps it only took 3 or 4 minutes before it began to stutter and then freeze altogether, although the BSOD stayed away
For the time being I've disabled it via the BIOS and I'll run with the integrated graphics on the mobo for a day or so and see if the problem has gone
Many thanks in the meanwhile | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Vostro 220 OS Windows 7 Professional 32 bit CPU Intel Core duo E8400 Motherboard Dell Memory 3072MB 800MHz SDRAM DDR2 1 x 2048 1 x 1024 Graphics Card Onboard G43 chipset Monitor(s) Displays BenQ 24HD PSU Dell Case Dell Cooling Dell Hard Drives 320GB 7200 SATA |
