Constant BODs due to usb driver

    I had to take a break because my PC died, but now I'm back to dealing with the laptop.

    I ran the memory test and there were no errors.

    Any other ideas? I've pretty much resigned to the fact that I'm going to have to buy a new laptop...

    Memory rarely is a problem in laptops in my experience unless you installed your own, which it does not sound like you did. The fact that it passed Memtest86+ further enforces that it is probably fine. The next step is to run Driver Verifier using the steps that zigzag3143 outlined in post #69.

    Any crashes with verifier running? Please upload any new crash reports so we can diagnose the system and find patterns with crashes.
