Have you tried booting to Safe Mode?
If successful you can then uninstall the NVIDIA driver update and go from there.
Do be careful what you say to Dell. If your computer came pre-installed with Windows and you have subsequently carried out a clean install you may find you have invalidated your warranty.
I called and there having me do the pree boot system test. didnt think on that nvidia part. Might have to tell them Ill call back and try that first

So they had me remove the "bridge" that connects my two video cards. When I plugged everything back on the PC was back to speed and acting normally. Does this seem like an actual fix? I'm going to receive two new video cards out of it, but im skeptical if this is even really fixed and not just temporary.
Also both cards are still in place, just the bridge is removed. Yet there's no errors in device manager. Which I'm guessing is normal since BOTH cards are physically in the PC? I don't know.
I was unaware you had two video cards. The best way to find out whether it is a fix is to find a forum for nVidia cards and one specific to your card(s). I am not familiar with graphics card bridges. You could also try posting a new thread regarding your cards in Hardware & Devices - Windows 7 Forums and see if the gurus in that forum can help.
