Windows 7: Win7 64-bit random restarts, not heating issue, no bsod

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Win7 64-bit random restarts, not heating issue, no bsod

So for a while now my computer, which I built myself, has been restarting itself randomly. The fan lights do not turn off and neither does the power supply of course, but screen goes black and it starts as if I had held the power button in to turn it off and turned it back on. It displays the message about how windows turned off unexpectedly and asks if I want to continue normally, in safe mode, or safe mode with networking. Everything is normal before and after that screen.

The restarts cannot be duplicated at will, and they appear to happen randomly. They have happened while pushing my computer some by playing Skyrim, and they have happened simply sitting at the desktop doing nothing. I have gone days at a time playing games and doing all my normal business without a restart, and at other times I it has restarted several times in one evening. So being turned on for so long is not the problem, and neither is my power supply being too weak like happened before. This one could power my computer three times over.

I do not believe that heating could be the issue either. Even when having Opera with 10+ tabs open, Skyrim playing at maximum settings with mods, and teamspeak turned on, I have never seen the temperatures go high enough to be an issue. The motherboard has never gone past 43C or 110F, my video card has never gone past 51C or 125F, and neither my processor or hard drive display a temperature in the programs I use to see temperatures but they should not be high. The processor fan is working perfect and strong with another larger fan blowing at it as well.

I tried unplugging my RAM and putting it back in, and also tried different slots, but moved it back in the end, since if I try to put my RAM into dual channel I blue screen. In case it was a file issue, I completely formatted my hard drive and reinstalled a fresh version of windows 7 64-bit home premium. I forget what the scans were called since I have only used them a few times in the past, but I ran windows tests on both of system files, RAM, and hard drive in general looking for errors and nothing was wrong.

So does anyone have any idea what could possibly be happening? This is quite annoying as you might imagine and I would very much like to fix it. I can only think that it might be my motherboard, but I really hope not.
