Help please...
I run Windows 7 on my current PC and recently have had this issue come up, it is constant, and I am at a loss now for fixes...
Whenever I put the computer into sleep mode, or click shut down, it refuses to stay asleep/shut down. Once it cycles through the sleep/shut down command, it looks good to go, then a milisecond later, the CD/DVD-Rom player makes a wierd noise, green light on the DVD-ROM Drive lights up, and then the computer turns back on fully... EVERY TIME...
I have tried a clean boot, to no avail. I have also tried updating the CD/DVD-ROM's drivers, its up to date. I have used the windows troubleshooter too, and have had no luck at all.
Any help/input is much appreciated. Here are basic info on my system:
MAIN: Asus M4A87TD/USB3
Chipset: AMD RD770
Processor: AMD Phenom II x 4 840 @3.2GHz
Memory: 6GB DDR3 SDRAM
Vid Card: GeForce GTX 460
Hard Drive: Seagate ST31000524AS ATA Device 1TB
CD/DVD Drive: Generic? It doesnt show any specs when I look it up
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit
