    BSOD: ASUS K52J laptop

I'm getting the BSOD several times some days and sometimes once a week, I tried to link the work I do and the BSOD but couldn't find any reason.

This problem started after few weeks after purchasing the laptop.

    Laptop spec.
    Asus K52J
    Windows 7 x64 OEM
    Around 18 months old
    Original installation (no re-installation)

    Hi.

You dont have any minidumps in your uploaded folder.

To enable minidumps follow these steps Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Yes is different, the one you posted is the method to automatically collect the crash\bsod according files, including minidumps.

Though you dont have any minidumps in your folders,we need them (the minidumps).

Minidumps help us to find the problem and solution for the problem.

Now,with this method you enable minidumps creation during crash\bsod Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

After this we must wait for a new crash\bsod to occur, then you must to reupload again the files.

Dont use Disk Cleanup or any pc cleaners like ccleaner because you clean\delete the minidumps.

I just did disk cleaner today before running System File Collection app so this might be the reason. I will wait till I get the BSOD few times and will upload the files again.

    Thanks

    Again no minidumps.

Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker you may need to run it 2-3 times to "fix" everything.

Then from this tutorial Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD choose and use OPTION TWO.

The minidumps (if created) are usually in C:\windows\minidump.
