    BSOD playing Skyrim

I am suspecting that my BSOD is being caused by AMD Catalyst 12.1 (since its a preview and not official WHQL drivers) but im also speculating it may be Anti Virus' too aggressive real time protection. I am attaching my minidump to the post.

The only clue i have (which i can't read, and yes this is the first time ive had ANY custom built PC ive made in 6 years since picking up this hobby) is the error code that windows 7 gives me upon rebooting and is as follows:

    BCCode: 3b
    BCP1: 00000000C0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF88004BD9B7D
    BCP3: 000000000000000
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

please let me know (if you can) what program is causing this.

The blue screen was caused by DirectX, which could mean: 1. DirectX needs to be updated; 2. see Diagnosing basic problems with DirectX; or 3. your graphics card drivers are causing issues.

thank you very much for the speedy response, thats all i need to know :)

to correct this im going to have to reroll back to official 11.12 drivers (despite not having skyrim crossfire optimizations) and just wait for official release of 12.1

EDIT: Looked at the link you provided for diagnosing DirectX issues and it was as i speculated:
The only thing out of the ordinary are my graphics drivers not having WHQL logo, meaning they aren't approved by windows to fully support DirectX. Won't be installing beta drivers again thats for sure...
