Windows XP sp3.. freezing after updating Malwarebytes yesterday

    HEY guys... I killed ALL instances of ForceFeild.. my AVAST HAS JUST UPDATED..

    Yeah an Alarm went off when Dennis mentioned ZoneAlarm crapware earlier.

    Please turn on XP Firewall in Control Panel. Make sure Windows Updates are current.

    Even Avast can be fussy, especially with a 3rd farty pyrewall. MSE seems to be more stable all-around.

    Do you have the paid Malwarebytes Real Time Shield?

    I was assuming ZA firewall, ForceField is a blocking software, different animal. Hopefully she has it sorted now. A Guy
