Need help....badly or wife will murder me!

    Hi all,

My name is Marc, and I could use some help. I built a computer about a year ago. Lately I have been having random freezes and BSODs. If I walk away for more than 5-10 minutes the computer freezes. I have followed the instructions correctly to post this as far as I can tell. Any help would be amazing.

Looks like you may have a virus, rootkit or the like.
Your AV seems to be AWOL.
Go HERE and install the x64 version in safe mode.
    Report back results.

    Hi Marc,

Your computer crashed while running mscorsvw. This process runs when the computer is idle, which may explain the problem when you walk away.

Check out this link for possible solutions:

FIX: Computer stops responding when the Mscorsvw.exe process starts in the .NET Framework 4

Ok I installed Microsoft security essentials, could not install in safe mode MSE said it could not install on a computer in safe mode. Did a full scan, no threats were found.

Also received and downloaded the hotfix for net framework. Is there any way to see if this is going to help? Or just wait it out.

Thanks for all of the help with this.

    Hello again,

Have not had another blue screen. However we have been experiencing a lot more freezes it seems. When I run perf mon, it says I have no AV, however have a fully updated version of MSE. Also seem to be getting a keyboard driver error, however I redownloaded the newest driver and applied it.

Any help would be once again much appreciated,
    Marc
