When system errors are present, it can be due to one of three causes:
    1. System file corruption.
    2. Faulting hardware.
    3. An underlying driver problem conflicting with the system.

Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to check for system file corruption.

Run the boot version of Memtest86+ paying close attention to Parts 2 and 3 of the tutorial. Also, in case Memtest86+ misses anything and comes up with no errors, run the extended version of the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool for at least five passes. These you may want to run overnight since they take a long time to complete.

Then follow the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html so we can help you as the information you provided was too vague to determine other possible causes.

Also, look at the post I just made for someone with a similar problem in: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...-anything.html

Thank you kind sir (or maddam)! :)

After posting last night I browsed some other threads and came across one that suggested the windows context menu for .7zip could be the culprit. I tried disabling that and will see if the errors cease today.

If they do not, I will proceed with your clear step-by-step process.

For Step3, you still want me to follow BSOD posting procedures even though this is not a BSOD, correct?

Thanks again. I'll get back to you!

No problem. And I'm a sir. For clarification: the reason I asked for you to follow the blue screen posting instructions is the files include information about application and system errors that may point to the cause of your problem. :) I realize you do not have an actual blue screen crash. It is just a good information gathering step for us helping to have more information about your system and possible causes or underlying issues.

    Thanks again Writh

So far so good over here. I've uninstalled the 7zip context menu as well as the spybot2 context menu.
Since then, I've had no crashes! :)
