Windows 7: BSOD crash but no BS instead I get fuzz

BSOD crash but no BS instead I get fuzz

System Spec- Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Its the original installed OS on the system
Full Retail I purchased it from retailer
Everything is just under a year old
Images provided show the actual crash that has happened on multiple occasions.
An get the second image shows a prompt i get on start up that has been showing up for ages don't know if it is related.
When I reboot it shows the windows crashed and provides this data an says look online for a solution. This is what it says:

It happens often whilst torrenting but has hapened whilst not torrenting.
Happens regularly aswell.

Hope I have provided enough details any help would be much appreciated.

Blamed on netio.sys. Usually when that is blamed it is your malware app that is responsible. Symantec is a known cause of BSOD's.


I do notice Symantec which is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST
