K well I'm trying the Driver verifier process. I did it in safe mode, and when I tried to restart my comp wouldn't boot. I did a hard shut down and booted up again, and this time it went through. So is the verifier still gonna do it's job if my initial restart attempt wasn't successful?
    If it is still running

To verify that type verifier /query and it should return a list of drivers being verified.

When I type that it in start it shows a command prompt window for like a split second with a bunch of stuff than closes. So I don't know if it's doing anything or not. I'm still confused about how this process is supposed to help exactly. My comp has crashed a million times still of course and still hard to startup, and I don't know what I'm getting out of using Driver verifier exactly.

Re Driver Verifier & the other advice given to you thus far.

What you hope to "get out" of the excellent voluntary help given here is a computer in far better condition that when you presented with many & varied problems!

Note the objective of running Driver Verifier below in red.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

What you get out of it is perhaps the name of the driver causing you to crash (if done correctly).
