PC Freezes and makes Buzzing Noise when Running Programs

Hi,
I have been using my PC for the last 7/8 days, for around 4 hours at a time without any problems, but it has suddenly started freezing in games and programs. It makes a buzzing sound usually heard before a bluescreen, but it just freezes and will not do anything until I force a restart.

Acer Aspire M5802
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 build 7601
Processor: Intel Quad Core 2 Q8300 @2.50GHz
Power Supply: 750w
Memory: 4GB
HDD: 750GB SATA
Graphics Card: Nvidia 9800 GTX
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio (Not Surround Sound)

I have checked that there are no loose connections inside my PC, and the power is plugged in properly
Any help will be appreciated!

Does the buzzing sound come from inside the compute or from the speakers? Is there a message from the bluescreen error? Do you have any .dmp files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder?

The buzzing comes from the speakers, and the entire PC freezes, no bluescreen, error messages etc.

Run through the steps to Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup and find any possible conflicts. Let us know if you are able to resolve the freezing and which program/service may have caused it.

Thanks! (:
I'll try it for a few days to see if it works first.

I'm glad your system is no longer freezing!

Were you able to determine which program/service was causing the freezing? If not, keep working on narrowing that down and let us know. It may be helpful for other users who have similar problems.

It's just done it again. The thing was, I was playing online and for some reason was kicked from the server for cheating (which I wasn't) seconds before the crash. Latest Error Log (Checked the 'Critical' error log as soon as I rebooted):

It is exactly the same as an error I was getting a while ago, except now it's just freezing instead of blue screening.

If you follow the http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html we can take a look at your application and system logs to find any critical/repeating errors that might suggest why it is failing.

I think I sort of have an answer. I've been using my computer in my conservatory completely fine now for a week without problems. I think it must have been overheating.
