Hi everyone! I really hope I can find help here as my $1K DIY Pc Combo deal from NewEgg is not being nice to me. This is my first time using Windows 7 (previously XP). But not my first time building a PC.
I have virtually nothing else installed. I just built this machine last Friday. I installed Windows 7 and started getting BSOD's so after a day of aggravation, and I thought my install was broken I reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7.
Welp, it's happening again. Windows likes to hang when it's trying to get updates, and will BSOD upon restarts or while trying to download/install. I've lost my younger age intelligence w/ Dos and Software/Hardware related stuff, so please respond like I'm a 5 year old. =)

I do not have that Bios, and your link goes to Error page. Could Asus' support page be down? And am I overclocked? I don't think so, how would I find out that information?

If you have not done it yourself you are probably not overclocked.
