Windows 7: BSOD ***STOP & boot loop at random times

BSOD ***STOP & boot loop at random times

Something similar has happened before (about half a year ago) but it got fixed when I did a system repair through command promt, until these few days...the loop came back again, sometimes it would boot like normal, at times it would get stuck or it'll go into a "checking file system" screen. It first started when I was browsing the web like usual, the comp suddenly froze and popped out a blue screen, it was too quick for me to capture it tho...In the past few days its gotten the BSOD a few times ive managed to take down a couple of the STOP codes 0x0000003D and 0x0000003B, im sure Ive gotten other ones too but i only remembered these 2...

I've tried system repair & restore and command prompt but none worked...i have no idea whats wrong (hardware or software?) so im hoping someone can help me find a permanent fix if possible?
Thanks

I have attached the dumb files through jcgriff2

Im using a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit which my friend installed for me so i could use the 4gb ram i had. It used to be Windows 7 Home Edition 32 bit.

My system is about 3-4yrs old now and OS is about 2yrs old i think...

It looks like it may be your RAM, but it could be driver issues as well.

Code:
dtsoftbus01.sys Thu Jan 13 03:27:08 2011 (4D2EB75C)
Start off by removing Daemon Tools. It has caused BSOD in the past.

Code:
nvlddmkm.sys Wed Aug 03 05:08:32 2011 (4E391010
Update your video card drivers - NVIDIA DRIVERS 285.62 WHQL

Once you've updated those two drivers, enable driver verifier
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

If you get a crash, upload a new report. If after 24-48 hours nothing happens (no crash), then disable driver verifier and move on to the hardware tests

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
3. Hard drive scan usings SeaTools - SeaTools for Windows | Seagate - Both long and short tests

so i installed the new driver from nvidia and removed daemon tools.
i proceeded to enable verifier and when i rebooted my comp i ran into a BSOD, it was to do with the uxpatch.sys...and i think i might know why...i had modified it before to use custom themes...which i dont use anymore...googling it has not helped..

edit: i restarted the computer a few times and its running now....weird...
well..i had the comp on for about 5hrs, i think it ran into an error and restarted...and then it froze and the welcome screen...i rebooted the comp again got this 0x00000007E BSOD

edit: memtest did not work...i set the bios to boot usb first but for reason its still not booting into memtest.........

You need to get that driver removed since it is causing a BSOD. As for memtest, try running from CD. USB doesn't always work good.

Also, please upload a new report so I can examine the new dump files when I get home from work.

ok so i uninstalled the new nvidia drivers and instead installed an older version 275.33 i think, have not gotten any errors so far, heres the latest dump.

the hd drive passed from seatool scan short and long except for the usb dirves (compact flash, sd/mmc etc)

edit: i ran memtest but because i wasnt allowed to have the comp running overnight (comp in brothers room..) i had to stop it after 3 passes...

Disable driver verifier at this time. You got a lot of STOP 0x116 errors and a lot of verified crashes blaming windows drivers which means the problem is mostly likely hardware.

Please run a CHKDSK on your drive - Disk Check

Also run a system file check to repair any damaged/missing system files - SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

I also need you to run memtest again. This time though I need you to run one stick at a time. 7-8 passes on each stick.

As for your video card problem, I would like for you to go into device manager and uninstall the device. Make sure you select the option to remove the driver software. Reboot the computer and then install the latest drivers you downloaded earlier for your card.

Let me know the results of all the tests
