    BSOD While waking Laptop from Sleep.


    Hey,

    So i've recently been getting a BSOD in Windows 7 after waking my PC from Sleep.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: c2
    BCP1: 00000007
    BCP2: 0000109B
    BCP3: 085E0009
    BCP4: 850F6730
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

    Easy, your avast which is often at least a contributing cause of BSOD'S . Please remove and replace your Avast with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

Hi, i'm new to these forums, so have some paitence with me. I've recently installed windows 7 ultimate x 64 on my laptop: HP Pavilion dv6700. No hardware changes,just stock. It almost always crashes (at a rate of 8/10) after I wake my laptop from sleep.
