Try this free program: HWiNFO, HWiNFO32 & HWiNFO64 - Hardware Information and Analysis Tools
It comes recommended by an expert whose opinion I value.

When it comes to temps, I use my finger.
I get burnt sometimes, but I've come to rely on that rather than on the sensors

All except this one look good:
Quote:
Temperature 3: min 188C max 195C
Gotta wonder what it is - and if the sensor is actually correct.
Most google search results show it as a fluke - but since you're overheating you've gotta wonder
Try pointing a house fan into the case (fan set on high) and see what it does to the temps. If it's a fluke, the Temperature 3 shouldn't change.

Well, that's about it for me.

I'll either need the information asked for in this link: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html
Or you'll have to go through ALL the steps in the stuff that I posted here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ml#post1760310

Good luck to you!

The instructions say to zip up the documents and then upload the zip file

If the temperature 3 levels are correct, it's good that it shuts down. Otherwise your laptop would start to melt while in your lap.
