You will have to refer to SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker OPTION THREE and the tip enclosed in that option.

The tip is to replace corrupted files with good files from an installation DVD. It does not appear that you have a ton of corrupted files, so this should be doable. :)

I understand, but I do not own an installation disk. This version was installed from the store where I got it and a friend helped me to upgrade it for the language today, Which is now also installing.

I've did the eventvwr, couldn't quiet find all options so also for those reasons, installing English language for the interface.

Here might be some usefull information?

    Code:
    - System
      - Provider
       [ Name] Application Error
      - EventID 1000
      [ Qualifiers] 0
        Level 2

       Task 100
      Keywords 0x80000000000000
       - TimeCreated
       [ SystemTime] 2012-01-26T04:05:37.000000000Z
        EventRecordID 9238
        Channel Application
        Computer Administrator
       Security

    - EventData
       Explorer.EXE
       6.1.7601.17567
       4d672ee4
       ntdll.dll
       6.1.7601.17725

       c0000005
       00000000000532d0
       c30
       01ccdbd49899d405
       C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
       C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll
       00526f1f-47d3-11e1-b57c-14dae95b5282
SFC scan has completed to, same result again.

There is a link to Home Premium x64 DVD burnable .ISO file in Post #32

There are also instructions there to re-install Windows if we need to, but I think a Repair Install should be tried first. You would not have been able to do the repair install without an install disc, so I believe you have not yet tried this approach. :)

I am not sure if you can repair install after an anytime upgrade, though... You may be stuck with the re-install that greg outlines in his post.

Yeah you're right, I remember now it was Startup Repair. Kinda thought that was the same thing. If I download that Installation Disk I would lose my Ultimate again, wouldn't I? And would all my files stay saved?

And is the Repair function also available from that iso?

Which is kind of the last & hopeless (and prettymuch application&datalosing too) option. With all these experts here there's got to be a workijng option defenately without reinstalling the operating system, I'm sure! Got to be something in the logs or somewhere that specifies what causes the issue, right? It can't be windows itself, I hardly believe that.

If you can do the repair install, the files would be saved. But if you had to do the re-install, you would want to backup your important files first. We actually recommend backing up your important files before trying the repair install or the clean install in the event that some error occurs during installation.

You would have to do the anytime upgrade again to Ultimate afterward and then use the key you were given for the upgrade to complete it. You would not have to purchase a second key. :)

You would not have been able to do the repair install without an install disc, so I believe you have not yet tried this approach. :)
Yeah you're right, I remember now it was Startup Repair. Kinda thought that was the same thing. If I download that Installation Disk I would lose my Ultimate again, wouldn't I? And would all my files stay saved?

And is the Repair function also available from that iso?
If you can do the repair install, the files would be saved. But if you had to do the re-install, you would want to backup your important files first. We actually recommend backing up your important files before trying the repair install or the clean install in the event that some error occurs during installation.

You would have to do the anytime upgrade again to Ultimate afterward and then use the key you were given for the upgrade to complete it. You would not have to purchase a second key. :)
Sure thing, but I refer back to my post above for a minute lol.
Also to run the upgrade again is no problem, but reinstalling pretty much is.
I got the sticker with the OEM key on the downside of my laptop though, so that's no problem either.
