Can you list all components that have been replaced in case there is one that was possibly overlooked?

Also, sorry for not responding sooner. I was waiting to see if any other suggestions were made, and the thread ended up buried in my stack of threads to check. In other words: I forgot about it and feel guilty.

No problem man. I believe this issue HAS been resolved now with the latest beta drivers from Nvidia (295.73). For others though I'll list all the components I replaced (just to help them rule out anything).

    Motherboard 1 (core2quad)
    Motherboard 2 (x58 i7)
    Motherboard 3 (x58 i7)
    Motherboard 4 and current (x67 i7)
    Processor 1 (Q9550 I think?)
    Processor 2 (960 i7)
    Processor 3 and current (2600 i7)
Ram 1 (4 GB of DDR2 that's been distributed to various friends and family)
Ram 2 and current (12 GB of Corsair DDR3, not sure on speed off the top of my head)
    Video Card 1 (Nvidia 260ish? Don't remember)
Video Card 2 (Nvidia 460 GT)
Video Card 3 (Nvidia 560 GT)
Video Card 4 and current (Nvidia GTX 560ti)
SSD 1 (60 GB OCZ Vertex Turbo)
SSD 2 and current (120 GB Corsair iForce 3)
HDD data drive (2 TB Western Digital Caviar Black, SATA 2)
HDD data drive (3 TB Hitachi Deskstar, SATA 3)
PSU 1 (don't remember brand or model, but it was ~600-700 watts, unknown 12v rail)
PSU 2 (Antec Gamer Edition HCG 900, 900 watts, surprisingly only 40 amp 12v rail)

Those are all from memory. Some of it might be off. I also replaced just about every cord I could think of. SATA data cables, power supply cables, and HDMI cables. I reformatted the hard drive with a full wipe countless times. It would work for about a week maybe before the symptoms would come back.

The most recent changes were disconnecting the desktop from the home theater (disconnected the HDMI), and downloading the latest beta drivers from Nvidia (version 295.73). After that, it seems to be working. It's been okay for about 2 weeks now, though I haven't been using it quite as often as I once did. I went out and bought a laptop toward the end of my troubleshooting that I've really taken to. Since I haven't been gaming recently there hasn't been much need to use the desktop.

Anyway, all's well that ends well.....or something? Thanks for the follow up. I'd meant to update every forum post I've made about this issue to spread the word about the latest Nvidia beta drivers. This problem plagued me for months, perhaps even years (not sure because when I'd get these unsolvable problems I'd usually just build a new system rather than deal with it). It could just be a driver conflict with windows 7, which was one of my first and most viable theories.

This is amazing. I've just come in this morning to repetitive problems like before. Pretty weird coincidence that it would be the day after sounding the all clear.

Looks like I need further troubleshooting.

Have you tried using a different keyboard and/or mouse?

Also, if you have any new crash reports, those would be a big help. https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

I have not used a different keyboard or mouse. I also haven't changed monitors. Those are the only things I can come up with. I'll see if I can experiment with that some this evening. I haven't had an actual BSOD yet (it only started up again this morning).
