Windows 7: BSOD endless startup restart cycle

I am posting this to help a friend who is having real problems with the computer. Endless cycling at windows start up. Someone built the computer which since they have moved out of the area.

Windows 7 64 bit Retail

Computer components are less then 6 months old.

Any help would be appreciated

Please install the drivers for your NEC USB 3.0 controller. permon /report shows them as not being installed.

Only 57 updates since SP1 - most systems have 70 or more since SP1. Please check Windows Update and get all available updates.

Avast software is having problems, please do the following:

Security Processor Loader driver is having problems. This is usually associated with a virus infection - or an infection that hasn't been completely removed. Please run a few of the free anti-malware tests from here (in case your Avast is compromised): Hardware Diags
If you find malware, please post over in the Security forums for assistance in making sure that it's all been removed.

Your Brother USB drivers (most likely for a printer) date from 2006. Please uninstall this software. Then go to the Brother website and download an updated, Windows 7 compatible version of the software.

- Create a System Restore Point prior to doing any of this. DO NOT mess with the drivers themselves - leave the Windows\System32\drivers directory alone unless we specifically direct you to it!
- Please either update the older drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall them from your system. Reference links are included below.
- DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
- Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
- Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers.
